San Francisco Kundalini Yoga Teachers
Awtar Kaur Khalsa has been living, studying, and teaching in Kundalini
Yoga ashrams since 1972. She sat at the feet of Yogi Bhajan with a notebook,
timer, and camera, prompting him to remark, “She has perfect notes.” She
is a senior teacher trainer and has taught throughout the United States
and overseas. Awtar uses generous doses of humor to inspire her students
to expand, both in group and private classes. Awtar has been married 30
years and her daughter is also a Kundalini Yoga teacher. She is
the director of The Kundalini Yoga Center in San Francisco.

Siri Vedya Singh has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 1977.
From 1979 through he served as the Director of the San Francisco Kundalini
Yoga Center, and has been teaching the Saturday morning class at the center
for the last 15 years. A student of Yogi Bhajan for nearly 30 years, Siri
Vedya takes great delight in sharing stories and anecdotes taught by the
Master of Kundalini Yoga. Siri Vedya’s classes include a short talk, live
guitar music, and the deep intention to help each of his students cultivate
their own ability to uplift and strengthen themselves.
Bhagvati Kaur began studying Kundalini Yoga in Hamburg, Germany,
more than ten years ago. She completed teacher training in Berkeley, CA
in June 2006. Bhagvati has experienced Kundalini Yoga as a complete lifestyle
that enables her to live consciously and happy. She teaches because of
her desire to share this great science, and to support others as they
connect with the wisdom of their inner healer. She teaches at The James
Howell Studio in San Francisco, as well.

Eva Sukh Sangat Monova was born and raised in Plovdiv – The City of the Seven Hills, Bulgaria. She graduated from University of Plovdiv in Mathematics and Computer Science. Moving to California in 2007 she discovered the life-changing path of Kundalini Yoga. Eva Sukh Sangat became certified to teach The Khalsa Way Pregnancy Yoga and Mommy & Me with Gurmukh at Golden Bridge Yoga. In 2010 she became a Kundalini Yoga Teacher through KRI and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She studied Kundalini Yoga with Awtar Khalsa at the Kundalini Yoga Center – Guru Ram Das Ashram, San Francisco. Sukh Sangat teaches the ancient wisdom and discipline of both math & yoga. Jiwan Shakti Kaur found Kundalini Yoga in 2002 — when searching for
new ways to overcome the stress of working in Technical Support — and
has been practicing ever since. She received her Level I Teacher Certification
in 2006 from the Awareness Center in Pasadena, CA. Jiwan Shakti recently
began teaching at the Guru Ram Das Ashram in February. With a focus on
moving energy and creating space, her classes tend to be vigorous and clearing.
Also a musician and DJ, she enjoys integrating creative music and sound
with traditional Kundalini Yoga Mantra in her classes.

Seva Simran Singh is a California grown Kundalini Yoga teacher and healer with deep compassion, an inspirational attitude and healing presence. He has been teaching Kundalini Yoga since 2004 after receiving certification at Yoga West in Los Angeles. He is currently part of the Teacher Training Team in SF. Emphasizing empowerment, growth and refinement, Seva Simran’s classes are opportunities for individuals to strengthen the intuition, expand and purify their energy fields and break unwanted habits and addictions. Siri Sadhana Kaur completed her teacher training at Golden Bridge Yoga in
Los Angeles. She conveys the grace, wisdom and humor of her beloved teachers
Gurmukh, Gurushabd, Tej, and Harijiwan to her students through these teachings.
Siri Sadhana believes the experience of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation ignites

Dharam Deep Singh has studied Kundalini Yoga & Meditation at Golden Bridge Yoga in Hollywood since 2006 and is also a recent graduate of the Kundalini Research Institute Teacher Training program in the Bay Area-San Francisco. Sarah Anand Anma has had years of experience researching, recording, and ultimately IMPLEMENTING the best techniques to optimize her relationships. From romantic to family, platonic to business, she has transformed her interactions with others to heart-centered and mutually beneficial connections. Born from a desire to have the power to choose to act compassionately rather than react instinctively, she continues to gather all of the best teachings and integrate them into her own life and her practice.
